Our journey to BIM began four decades ago, out of a fascination with the emerging world of computers. After countless hours drawing lines in early CAD systems, we realized we needed a stronger tool. We found it in Archicad, in which we laid the foundations of digital design in Slovakia twenty years ago. (link to Archicad SIEBERT + TALAŠ – Graphisoft | United States)
SPP and Eden Park were our first true 3D models, where we joined the virtual data world with traditional design. Twin City established spatial coordination as a necessity. And Nivy Station, one of the largest European projects of its time, could only be delivered because in BIM.
BIM is essential for efficient spatial coordination. The turning point was the 2014 Twin City project, where our whole team saw the power of a single coordinated model. The extra effort paid back in time and accuracy. A faithful digital twin model gives us control from the first ideas to handover.
For SIEBERT + TALAŠ, we were convinced of the power of BIM from the very outset.
