The study examined options for locating the technical and operational facilities and hangars of a private aircraft operator and a general aviation service provider.
Several options were designed and assessed for the location of the operator’s hangar, its support facilities and space for public services. These included the possible future construction of two further commercial hangars, with particular attention to the airport’s obstacle limitation surfaces.
The study proposed two basic location options for the hangars and their manoeuvring areas, two options for the administrative and operational support facilities, and two design options for the ALFA hangar.
